Conning Towers was established in 2001 by Susan Popoola due to her passion and desire to see the value, purpose and talent of people leveraged for both individual and business benefit.
With years of Human Resources experience working with a specific focus on Talent Management, Workforce Planning & HR Transformation across the public, private and third sector with organisations such as WorleyParsons, Arup, The Department of Health, Kent County Council and The Royal Festival Hall Conning Towers has established its creditability within the field.
With extensive travel and research into social and community issues at both local and global levels, Conning Towers has established an in-depth knowledge and understanding of how the issues not only impact on society generally but also business and employment. Some of Conning Towers key research areas include the Social Dynamics of Milton Keynes; Diversity in Britain; The impact of De-industrialisation; Post Katrina New Orleans & The Role of Generation Y; Haiti - Prospects & Unemployment; and The Oil Industry and the Niger Delta area of Nigeria.
Through work with young people and the Education system in Youth Work, School Governorship, Business Education Enterprise and Young Enterprise, Conning Towers has developed a real understanding of Young People - Generation Y. This goes beyond the typical stereotypes with an insight into the needs and most effective processes for engaging them within the workforce.
